Universal Medical RHM250 1U, 3 x 5” 250W Natural Convection PSUs
The new RHM250 series from FiDUS Power is rated at 250W natural convection and provides 7 different output voltages from 12 to 48VDC. The RHM250P variant is also available offering an additional 5V / 2A standby rail and remote on off. All units offer continuous protection from short circuit, overload and overvoltage conditions as standard.
Designed for use in medical applications the RHM250 series provides high efficiency and very low emissions, easily meeting EN55011 Level B making them ideal for both design reviews of existing products with their competitive pricing, or for use in new projects that may not require any supplementary EMC filtering:
The series works across a wide operating temperature range from -40 to +70°C, offer low no-load power consumption and feature a FiDUS 5-year warranty.
These new power supplies future proof designs with the latest medical approvals; safety IEC 60601-1 (ed 3.1) and EMC immunity IEC 60601-1-2 (ed 4) and the model feature 2xMOPP input to output isolation and are suitable for body floating (BF) applications for applied parts. They offer truly universal input performance for global use without derating and do not rely on a noisy fan to cool them, making them ideal for the operating environment.
Typical applications include patient monitors, ultrasound systems, blood chemistry analysers, medical imaging, medical and cosmetic lasers and patient contact tools.
